WorldNewsUnique.Com, Indonesia - Sari Mutiara University (USM) Indonesia held an entrepreneurship dialogue in collaboration with the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) of the Republic of Indonesia at the USM Indonesia Auditorium, Jalan Kapten Muslim, Medan Helvetia District, Medan City, North Sumatra, on the afternoon of May 20, 2025. During the session, the Deputy for Entrepreneurship at the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs shared insights on the keys to becoming a successful entrepreneur.
USM Indonesia expressed its commitment to playing a strategic role in strengthening the MSME and creative economy ecosystem in Indonesia. This was conveyed by the Chairman of the USM Indonesia Foundation, Parlindungan Purba, during the Entrepreneurship Dialogue held in collaboration with the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs.
Parlindungan Purba stated that USM Indonesia is not only focused on academic achievement but also on developing young entrepreneurs who are innovative, have integrity, and are ready to compete amid digital transformation and global economic challenges.
The entrepreneurship dialogue also featured a Q&A session between USM Indonesia students and representatives from the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs. Additionally, 12 SME products created by USM Indonesia students were showcased during the event. Deputy for Entrepreneurship at the Ministry, Siti Azizah, took the opportunity to visit and review the exhibition.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, represented by Deputy for Entrepreneurship Siti Azizah, emphasized that to become a successful entrepreneur, one must be persistent, courageous, and have a strong intention to pursue entrepreneurship.
"You must be persistent, brave, and have the intention to start a business," said Siti Azizah on May 20, 2025.
The event was also attended by the Head of the Medan Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BBPOM), the Chairman of the Indonesian Pharmacists Association (IAI), assistant deputies from the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, as well as USM Indonesia students and lecturers. (J)
